DETECTIVE (Patrol Division)

The City of Metter is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Detective (Certified). The City of Metter is approximately 63 miles Northwest of Savannah, Georgia along Interstate 16. The Detective’s entry annual salary is approximately $42,000- $44,000. Minimum Requirements

• High School Education or equivalent

• Effective Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)

• No conviction record for felony or crime of moral turpitude or domestic violence

• Valid Driver’s License

• Must be a Georgia P.O.S.T Certified Officer.

• Application must have 2 years of verifiable employment as a certified officer.

Preferred qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited University/College

• At least 2 years of investigative experience
