Water/Sewer Helper

PUBLIC NOTICE JOB OPPORTUNITY The City of Metter is accepting applications for a Water/Sewer Helper. Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, a valid Georgia driver’s license, be in good physical condition, ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations. Applications are available at City Hall at 49 South Rountree Street, Metter, Georgia. Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a. m. until 5:00 p. m. Applications will be accepted until February 27, 2025 or until the position is filled. The pay range for this position is $14.53 hourly to $21.30 hourly. All job applicants being considered for employment shall be required to pass a drug and alcohol screening test prior to being hired. The City of Metter is an equal opportunity employer.
