Dylan Bridges enrolled in the WIOA ITA program in September 2023. When he enrolled in the ITA program, he was attending Southeastern Technical College (STC) and was in the Associate of Nursing Program. While attending STC, he became unemployed, and with the lack of income, the financial burden of completing the ASN program was overwhelming. WIOA assisted in covering the costs of tuition, books, supplies, testing fees, and transportation. Dylan graduated with his Associate of Science in Nursing in December 2024 and has since taken his state board exam and passed. He was offered a full-time position as an RN at Memorial Health Meadows. Dylan has been a great participant, and we are very proud of his accomplishments.

Dylan shared his experience by saying, “WIOA allowed me to gain financial help and funding after my HOPE hours had been used. This grant gave me more peace of mind and lessened my financial burden of attending college. I truly do not think I would have been able to make it through nursing school and college without all of the help WIOA provided me along the way.”
